J&R Steak house Calverton ny, great burgers, great price...

Tonight as We watched tv, a great burger commercial came on, it had a juicy burger with fried onion straws. Right then and there I knew I needed to have a great burger. So the decision was made to try J&R steakhouse in Calverton Long Island.  Well I have to say well worth going. First of all , we got there in time for Happy Hour which apparently applies to the tables as well as the bar. So it was buy one get one free. The wait for a table was pretty quick, the food coming out after ordering was also fast. I would like to also mention the waitress Maureen , she made the visit a real great experience, great personality.  Then it happened the burgers arrived, well worth the trip . The burgers were prepared just as we asked, on the well side. I highly reccomend  this place, the price as well was on the money. Total price with nice tip $40.00.  This is my Food For Thought.....
